A ministry of Jesus the Divine Word Parish in Huntingtown, Maryland.  It is a non-profit organization.  The program is accredited by the Maryland State Department of Education.  Our preschool is open to all of God’s little children, with first preference being given to the parishioners of Jesus the Divine Word Parish.  The program is then open to members of the other Catholic parishes in the area, and then the general public.

It is the mission of Good News Preschool to promote the social, emotional, cognitive, motor and spiritual development of three and four year old children within a fun-filled, loving, Catholic atmosphere.  Our learning environment is one in which the uniqueness of each child is emphasized, while offering developmentally appropriate activities in the instructional areas of Math, Science, Reading Readiness, Social Studies, and Religion

3 year olds meet on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9-11:30 AM
4 year olds meet on Monday, Wednesday and Friday  from 9AM - 12 N
