he Annual Patuxent River Sojourn each year explores a section of the river during a multi day paddling and camping journey. The Patuxent Sojourn aims to elevate awareness of the Patuxent River’s importance to the region and to encourage local residents to play an active role in its restoration and preservation. Some exciting programs planned for this year’s trip include a night paddles; live music; and historic, environmental, and cultural speakers.
Dates for Patuxent Sojourn 2010 will be June 24th – 28th, see below for more details.
